We can increase shutdown speed by using one of the trick of following:
1. In this trick we create a shortcut of shutdown.
Right click on the desktop->New shortcut->type "shutdown -s -t 0"->click Next->Click Finish
This will call a fie:-> c:\windows\system32\shutdown.exe
And '-s' file for System Shutdown.If we want Restart We should have to provide '-r'
'-t' means in how much time system would shutdown. And 0 is the time in seconds.
2. This method will shutdown computer in 5 seconds.
Just follow following keys:
Alt+Ctrl+Del=>This will open Task Manager
Then Press:Alt+U==>This will shows a popup menu
Then come on focus 'Turn Off'
Press it with pressing Simultaneous Ctrl key.
It will shutdown computer within 5 secs.
This will shutdown in very fast method.

Ok, but the second one doesnt work in windows 7(or at least mine). In Win7 Ctr + Alt + Del doesnt send you directly to Task Manager, and even if you are in it Alt + U wont show a popup menu .....
Also:
I dont know English, but I think it should be click and not press

An alternate way to open the Task Manager is to use the key combo: Ctrl + Shift + Esc works on Windows 7 and from what I remember, it works on the NT versions of windows.. NT, 2K, XP, Vista

Good work. You can also add the force windows to close argument "-f" after the "-s", it seems to work faster when I do so.
