Trouble deploying ASP.NET website

Posted 18 July 2011 - 09:11 AM

Hello All,

I am having trouble with my application accepting my credentials after I deploy it to my production server. Here's what I have done so far:

-I copied my project folder over to my production server
-I go to IIS manager on production server and right click default web site and click add virtual directory.
-I create new virtual directory and point it to my physical folder that I copied onto the production server.
-I created a new application pool and right clicked properties on my new web site and pointed it to my new app pool
-I set the authentication to Integrated Windows Authentication and disable all other authentication modes.
-I set my asp.net version to 4.0303....
-I changed my Identity on the application pool from Network Services to configured user
-I have my web.config file set for Windows authentication with identity impersonate=true

And I know it finds my website, because it's asking for credentials, but it won't accept mine. It won't accept any other developers here as well. I'm using IIS 6. Does anybody have any ideas?

Is This A Good Question/Topic? 0
