So I found this little E-book translated from German available online. It is actually pretty nice and coupled with the (skimpy as it is) Boost documentation helps shed some light into the Boost libraries.

Of course if you want a PDF version one can be purchased -- and personally I think it would be good to encourage the Author in his endeavors since Boost really needs more coverage.
