Well, setting WAMP up is pretty much just a matter of downloading the installer and following the instructions. Not usually all that complicated.

As far as I know, people typically don't use Smarty with ZF. It has it's own layout thing. Not that you can't, but while your bothering with a framework like that, you might as well go all out. If you insist on using Smarty with ZF, then I'm sure Google can turn up a tutorial or two. I haven't bothered trying that combo myself.

Do you know how to use Zend Framework? Setting it up is fairly simple, but using it is another matter. To set it up, just add it to the include path, or somewhere your autoloaders can find it. And make sure the "zf.bat" utility is available in your PATH variable.

Prorotype and Scritaculous are Javascript libraries, so those would just have to be made available in your web-root (the "public" dir in ZF projects) and included into the pages in your HTML.
