I need to sort the columns of my gridview. But the catch is that i need to place an additional row below my gridview columns which would have ascending and descending sort images. When clicking on this images, sorting of the selected column should take place.
Please guide me!!
Let me know if you have any query/doubts

You waited an entire 30 minutes...seriously? You do know that the people here have lives outside of this web site and that we do it because we like helping others, not because we're getting paid. You're original post was at around 3:45 in the morning my time, sorry I wasn't awake and staring at the forums at that exact time to provide you an immediate response.
Anyway, as for the actual question, can you provide a little more information? What kind of datasource is being used? Can you post the markup, from the aspx file, for the gridview and its datasource or if you're setting the datasource in the codebehind can you include that code as well?
