Using C# with Visual Studio

Posted 10 August 2011 - 04:10 AM

I want to try and learn C#, I have a bit of experience with VB.NET.
I have Visual Studio 2010 express, so can I download the C# language to use with my existing package?

Thanks for any help in advance.

Since you are using the Express version of VS2010, they are separated by language. So since you have been using the VB.Net version, you will need to download the C# version.

It really depends on the company. Some companies use VB.Net, some use C#, some use both.
