Logic Design Assignment

Can someone help me with this question?

Suppose a machine has 500 MB of storage space available on a hard disk and receives data over a telephone connetion at the rate of 14,400 bps. At this rate, how long would it take to fill the available storage space?

im assuming bps is bits per second and MB is megabytes.

there are 8 bits in a byte
there are 1024 bytes in a MB
there are 1024 KB in a MB
there are 1024 MB in a GB
there are 1024 GB in a TB

Its a simple conversion problem

I think it comes out to be about ~1.757 MB per second. You can finish it from here

You missed KB and listed MB twice.

Should be:
there are 8 bits in a byte
there are 1024 bytes in a KB
there are 1024 KB in a MB

And you need one more division 0.0017166 MB per second.

K and M are near each other :P probably why i missed the division too lol
