In Safari and Firefox, my scrolling DIV works just fine. The content flows down the page as you scroll and the background image stays right in place, just as I want it to appear. However, in IE the image repeats making the page look hacked up and ugly. I've tried many different things like making fixed attachment and not having the image repeat. I can't seem to get this one. That didn't do it, thanks though. I've tried many different variations. Has anybody had a similar problem? It's such a pain in the neck! Maybe even by a little javascript?

Try putting the image in the html instead of the css.
Apply the css separately on a class in the image.
You might have to use z-index to get the image under the content.

I've been playing around with this for a while and can't seem to get it. What exactly do you mean when you say "apply the css separately on a class in the image." Also, to make this a bit easier on myself, what is going to be put in the style sheet and what is going to be put in the HTML page. Or is it all in the HTML?
