No, htc(hot-taco-cheese), it's definitely the browser. It surprises me that it still hasn't been fixed; lots of web developers and designers use Chrome, so it can't be for lack of this problem being reported.

The other annoying thing about Chrome is its tendancy to start minimised. I help a lot of people with their PCs in the local area and I always strongly recommend using Chrome. This is a frequent complaint from them and I resort to using command line arguments (-start-maximized)in the shortcut to force Chrome to open maximised. :(

Firefox for personal use and web development. I use IE/Chrome when doing browser compatibility.

I use my own custom browser - codename tremor and its made in vb.net. I've been working on it for almost a year - I started on the 18/10/10 at 9:05AM. Its a bit sad that I remember it above all of the things I should be remembering.

Chrome for personal use and IE 7+, FF 4+, and Chrome for development. I've never noticed any issues with Chrome loading minimized. My mom, sister, and wife use it as well and no problems from them either. Must be a regional issue. :)

At home, i use FireFox as my default, but admittedly, I have FF, Chrome, and IE as well.
At work, as a web developer, I use MOST browsers for testing purposes. However, at work, my default is Chrome.
