C++ Linux Headers

Posted 20 August 2011 - 02:41 PM

Alright, so, switching over to developing on a Linux machine means I get access to quite a few linux based headers. I know a couple of them, but does a list of them and what they can do exist? They're slightly different I know, especially the ones in /system/*.h, but i don't know all of them. I know a couple due to working with Mu* coding, but not all.

So, does such a list exist?

I'm not aware of any such list. But the ones that I use are documented by the functions that require them.

Headers are headers. You can look in them...

You could start here: http://pubs.opengrou...8799/index.html

e.g. http://pubs.opengrou...h/unistd.h.html

Really, you don't know what functions you need until you need them, right? Then you google.
