So I have been learning C++ for a while now and I want to learn some graphics programming aswell (OpenGL). I found what looks like a good OpenGL tutorial online (http://www.swiftless.com/opengltuts.html) but I have trouble installing freeGLUT (using windows 7). I downloaded the .tar file (could not locate any .zip files there) from the freeglut website and opened it whit some program. The problem is that the folder I got did not have the .lib or the .dll files. So I guess the question is: can I just use GLUT, forget about freeglut and cary on with the tutorial? If not, can someone help me figure out how to install freeglut?
(I'm using VC++)
