I need line counter for some work I'm doing lately, and I'm SICK of seeing erros like "blahblahblahisfuqed on line 376"... how am I supposed to count 376 lines? Are the blank spaces considered lines? Are the "excepted" (#'d out) lines counted? Gimmie a link that you guys use, and you'll have the undying gratitude of a Manimal forever! Or better yet, I may even say "Thanx!"

Well i never really used any line counter because i always used msvc but if you look on google or your favorite search engine for "c++ line counter" im sure you will find something you like.

I'm using notepad for some php fixes, and I HATE the way the errors come up as "line 106" or whatever. I don't know if it counts spaces, or leaves out # lines, or / lines or blah blah blah. I just need a #### counter. An online would would be best actually.

It probably counts every endline, regardless of the contents of any line. You may want to take a look at this for a PHP Editor: http://download.cnet.../downloa....557

I haven't personally used it though.

If you don't like that, you could try out TextPad (www.textpad.com). It's my editor for almost every type of text file.
