PathMATE

The only open MDD transformation environment which automatically transforms PIMs defined in UML into high-performance embedded C, C++ or Java software, shifting most development from being code-centric to being architecture-centric. By using the Engine to transform design vision into code, developers can create more features in less time. PathMATE customers measure development productivity gains of up to 40% within the first year.

The Maps code templates include a complete set of mappings for all UML model elements to implementation. You have complete freedom to edit, add, or discard mappings as you see fit, with full control from the component level all the way down to individual data atoms and Action Semantic expression elements. Designed for easy portability to new environments, the Maps-based mechanisms come out of the box ready for Win32, Win64, Linux, HP-UX, MercuryOS, Solaris, AIX, Cygwin, OSE, ARM-OS, Nucleus+, VxWorks, MqX, pSOS and general POSIX-compliant environments.

I've been using Dragonfire for over six months now, and I've actually enjoyed it. I already know c/c++ so it was easy for me to dive into, and get my app in the app store. And the api is clean and easy to understand.

Can't believe I'm the first one listing Firebug here.

Firebug
Awesome browser debugger.
Language: Supports Javascript debugging, plus ability to check out CSS and HTML
Platform: I've only used it on Mozilla, pretty sure it's available on other browsers too. See Firebug Lite.

More features:
  • Inspect HTML and modify style and layout in real-time
  • Use the most advanced Javascript debugger available for any browser
  • Accurately analyze network usage and performance
  • Extend Firebug and add features to make Firebug even more powerful
  • Get the information you need to get it done with Firebug.
