How to find out many files are within a zip without extracting it ?

Posted 24 September 2011 - 09:10 PM

Hi guys I'm new to programming and c# is where Iím starting.

I'm making progress but stuck on next part of my project. I need to determine how many files are within a file and stored this within a variable for later use.

I try to Google and cannot find any answers on how to accomplish this.

Thanks
Tom

C# doesn't support standard zip file format (it uses gzip which is slightly different). You could try SharpZipLib or DotNetZip
