VB.NET form templates

Posted 27 September 2011 - 02:18 AM

Hi guys,

Just a quick question regarding VB.NET form templates. Is there anywhere you can download some free templates ? or is it quite easy to design your own.

Im creating a new project but im trying to do something without the normal grey box form. i.e nice buttons and different colours etc....

Thanks in advance

Lewis

Well you could always spruce up the buttons in the designer and save it, then each time you want to use that form just import it onto your next project.
Or you can download them, whatever suits you.

You could always use PictureBoxes with alpha channels (transparency) and shape them the way you want. Or you could define your own class fir a button.

WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation) is the technology you might be looking for. You can host it in a windows form application. You can also use GDI+ and graphically draw your buttons and other designs to your form - including rounded form edges, gradients, etc...
