How to use libraries (.dll) in framework .NET 4.0 in W Phone proyect

Posted 28 September 2011 - 06:32 PM

Hello! I have an important problem with my application.
My programmer's team have created a .dll (library), where there are a lot of functions, that I have to call, to take some data.
When I put the reference, and press "Build", a warning appear, that I can't reference the library.

So, I want to know, how to use libraries in framework .NET 4.0 in a windows phone proyect.

I hope I have managed to explain me.

Thank you!

Simply put, you cannot directly import .NET Framework 4.0 libraries in a Windows Phone project because of multiple platform restrictions, especially if those DLLs are designed outside the bounds of the Silverlight runtime.
