Just days after pushing Firefox 7 out the door, Mozilla has released the beta version of Firefox 8. It includes some feature improvements, a handful of interface tweaks, and a few goodies for developers. Mozilla has also added features to the Android version of the browser.
Firefox 8 allows developers to add items to the program's right-click menu by using the HTML 5 markup language, as well as to add lots of video and audio elements to a website without dragging down performance.
Fully! Though I think they still have a way to go. The only pro of Firefox that I have, is the speed it downloads with. Otherwise I use Chrome. They will have to keep pushing these updates if they want to retain users.
Firefox are catching up again, but I am still using Chrome more at the moment. I do not like the way they release updates. Why not just call it Firefox and have version numbers just for debugging.. thats what chrome does mostly.
