Is there any way that new members would have to have their first 25 posts be approved before they are displayed? They would just be automatically hidden until someone with enough privileges approves them.

Or just not allow them to post in certain forums that are important like this one, until a certain amount of posts like what tlhIn`toq said.

That would be a moderating nightmare. And it would lose even more traffic. We want to encourage people to post and we'll handle spammers.

Yeah, you guys have to admit, we get them quick once you report them. We just can't be everywhere all the time.

And I wouldn't relish going through a queue of posts every half hour to approve all the newbies posting.
