Interesting. I guess it's not bad so far, it's definately simple, I mean there isn't a whole lot to 'check'.

It really depends on the style you want to go for, but it seems the website could use a bit more structure, at least with a matching navigation on each page.

Also, maybe look into other font options outside the default, get into making a CSS stylesheet for the website.

Good start though, you have a solid grasp on whitespace and color matching.

links at the top are too dark. marko's definitely right on leaving the font. it's not like you have a ton going on, maybe you should get some graphical links, you know make some more graphical interaction with the users so it's not just like, ok here's a picture and here's plaintext hyperlinks that are really hard to read. as i continue to browse, the whole site is just dark, my eyes feel like man, turn on the lights you know, pump up some contrast at spots so your users don't feel visually strained.

the red is a bit dark on the black for me, it's difficult to read, if you could make it a little brighter giving us some contrast that would help.

I agree with the above. Also, don't put validity buttons on your site if its not actually valid xhtml and/or css. It shows disrespect to the people that work hard to make their code valid.

i would change the decorative font you're using. it is way too hard to read.

I agree with the red on black being too dark. I also think it's not as appealing since everything is concentrated in the center. more graphics would be nice
