How is this image made?

I saw an image on Facebook, and it pretty much amazed me. I wonder how it was made? To say it's just lines, with reversed lines to differentiate the two.

It looks like a pretty straight forward 'fill pattern' with photoshop. The background runs bottom left to top right lines. A new layer is added for the words. Then a second layer is added above that, set to clipping mask, and then the original layer is copied, pasted, and flipped horizontally. A bit of fiddling with it and you should achieve the effect.

I gave it a quick go, and this is what I got, although the difference is blatant.

Quite.. well no one said it was totally easy. I would suggest full lines not that pattern. There's also a trick of getting the lines the right width and distance apart so at 90 degrees the lines sync up.

Hey, that's the ticket. The whole pattern thing just seems to hard for my brain to wrap around. lol.
