Upload files via SFTP through a VPN within Dreamweaver

Ok, here's the scenario. I use Dreamweaver to manage my sites and I have a site that I currently do the following:

turn on VPN -
use SFTP through Putty or WinSCP to transfer files

I would like to setup an SFTP account within Dreamweaver (I know this is possible), but what I don't know how to do is tell it use the VPN. Is there a way that I can set that up?
