code tag parsing oddness

Posted 13 October 2011 - 12:09 PM

Just noticed an oddity with the code tags and how they parsed some javascript. They seem to be intermittently lowercasing some of my camel-cased variable names. Example:

myWindow=window.open("", "newwin", "height=300,width=400,toolbar=no,scrollbars=no,menubar=no,resizable=yes");
mywindow.document.write(html);
mywindow.document.close();

When I copy/pasted that code, and if I edit, all of those myWindow have the 3rd letter capitalized. But when I look at it after it's posted, only the first appearance of myWindow has the capitalization. The following two lines have a lower case w.

I've noticed the same thing in some of my C# code, stuff like

public event onpropertychanged;

I think the site's mod security is what is changing that. If not that, then it's another "feature" included into this forum. Perhaps skyhawk can give it a look.

We could try using an updated version of the SyntaxHighlighter, we currently are using. It could also solve the flash issue this member was experiencing.

That's not a flash issue. It's just the way the iOS Safari scrolls child elements. One finger scrolls the page, two scrolls scrollable elements. No flash at all.
