Just curious, do we have any members with CEH certification? I know many of us are involved in security positions at our respective companies.

Certified Ethical Hacker certification. Sorry I thought there was only really one place to get the cert.

I'm sure there is, but the point is that you were assuming that we all knew what CEH was at all. Perhaps if you provide a link.
Also, no matter how ethical, hacking is a somewhat touchy subject on D.I.C., so be careful where the thread goes. Discussion isn't bad, but Q&A stuff is out, since any help provided can be used maliciously as well as ethically.

@Curtis - No offense but I've been on DIC for quite a long time now. I see you have a mod badge but I don't need lectures on what is and isn't touchy. Delete the thread if you want.
@modi - I pm'd you.
@modi - I pm'd you.

Well, I'm glad you managed to take a generic admonition and take it personally.

Sorry, tends to feel personal when mods step in.

We're also just regular members too. I wish there was a way to turn the badge off and on at times, since sometimes I don't want what I say to have official weight behind it, I just want it to be me.

While I dont have my CEH, I do work in Security, currently obtaining my BSIT in Security and CEH is actually one of the classes I'll be taking sometimes next year. CEH is ran by the EC Council, the classes and certification both teach and practice/use the same tools as hackers just in an ethical way. With a CEH you can get jobs such as penetration testing. While it's gaining popularity some people don't think of any hacking as ethical. The difference is most CEHs dont do anything until they're asked and try to search, stop and patch systems that have been hacked or before they're hacked. Me personally if I had a choice, I'd go for something like the CISSP, its more recognized and accepted.
