Hi,
Just want to share my project:

I been working on my Website for ages and this has got to be the best i have made it look in years. Before the website just had a black background with text in white and links in yellow color. I would like to know how can i make this website more interesting so my bounce rate goes down?. I will be getting an Html book soon since all i know how to do in Html are make paragraphs, and make links. basically very little. I can't make frames and stuff.

May I suggest you look at real websites? No offence but I do not understand how people come up with designs such as that, being unique is good but designers use certain design patterns all the time, because they work.

I don't know alot of HTML. I will start using Dreamweaver. I would use the normal Version of Freewebs. But the templates are not really good in my opinion the good ones you have to pay for. i am trying to run on everything free until i need to actually pay. Could you suggest how i can improve as per design, content or stuff like that? I am going to learn on how to use HTML. I know basic functions of HTML that is how i made the website in HTML mode feel free to look at it

why not make your own templates in note pad---- try using .css style to create your templates and add them to your html.
like

Check out the html tutorial and css tutorial, depending on how hungry you are check out the javascript tutorial as well. After you've gone through these you'll have the tools to create the site you want, while following web standards.

OMG in a non offensive way have you seen websites this decade? I would suggest getting a template from a new site so it would look modern then using W3C learn how to create websites and alter the template to be unique to you.
@JacksonD Your two sites are not bad, few problems with Chrome on Windows for me.

I'm afraid it looks a bit like a Yahoo Geocities page circa 1996. If you're just using it to teach yourself HTML, then that's fine, but it would probably be a good idea to also take a look around at other websites and note the design. You don't have to make your site look like other peoples', but at the moment, it just looks really dated.
