If you're looking for a guide to getting into html and CSS fast, take a look at some of the tutorials I have up: http://www.blog.bawe...html-the-basics

As far as design is concerned, you really don't need to have any creative talents whatsoever. Good design is learned, there are set rules that can be taught. Creativity on the other hand is a complete abstraction that can span several directions and no one person has the same definition of much of anything.

I know enough designers that don't have a single shred of creativity, they just learned to make themselves look more professional, and it works wonders.

I just wanted to share my website: www.ahmerjaved.webs.com. This site contains very useful C++ programs. I just recently released version 1 for my Derivative program. The program actually finds derivatives. I also have a geometry program. I am not done with the Derivative Program right now. Version 2 will have Quotient rule and stuff. As far as Geometry Program. I still have to add alot. I will be working on Physics program next. It's just not on my Home Page.

I will not make any of my source codes OPEN SOURCE.

hmmm. This now seems more like advertising now. Actually when I used to use webs (I was a 12-year-old VB.NET programmer then) I used that exact same theme ;)

It looks quite a good site, you've clearly put a lot of effort in.

However you may want to look into web browser compatibility issues as it displays fine in three out of the four browsers I had a quick glance in.(IE,Chrome,Firefox,Opera)But when you open it in IE your name on the blue background disappears. IE more than likely renders it behind the background image. It also seems to take a chunk out of your navigation bar.

I love webs.com for that reason. Easy to use. Html coding takes too long. Plus tools have replace the need to learn hard Html nowadays.

I disliked it because I disagree with your statement ;) HTML is still prevalent today and as of now, isn't going anywhere. It really doesn't take that long once you get used to it. Also, HTML is a markup language, it's not that hard. There is really not that much programming logic (if any?) to learn HTML. A lot of those tools, cost a lot of money, are just plain shit, or have annoying stuff (like ads).

If you can learn any programming language then HTML and CSS should be extremely trivial to use at a basic level. Now as for some of the more advanced functionality, that takes some skill to rig up.

AhmerjavedC++ google is your friend. DIC obviously has tutorials about everything but the w3schools.com site has many small tutorials to help novices on web development.

I also just wanted to add that IMO, the reputation vote isn't there because "you disagree" with what someone has said, but more so if what the person said is misleading or plain out wrong. But just because someone states something you disagree with doesn't mean you should negative vote them for it. If on the other hand, what someone says is flat out wrong or maybe misleading to novices, then you should negative vote them. Just my two cents.
