I'm look for to make a Android app that the user can use together with a PC app i've made.
I'm looking for to make a Android app that connects to the PC app via a user specified IP (local)
And then the PC app is going to send the requested data back.
The thing is that i don't really know how to do this.
I think that i would have to/should use socket and TCP
But I'm not sure so i want to get a second opinion on this
And if socket is that best way to go, is there anything that i should look out for when getting data from a PC (like converting the data) or is i like doing a p2p-app (example: a chat program) on PC?
Thanks
