please tell me some open source c/c++/java project in github .

I have joined github very recently. wanted to contribute to and learn from open source projects.But having difficulty finding a relevant project.Most of them are in python or ruby or javascript.Can someone please suggest a simple open source project in c/c++/java to watch or fork to me.These are the only languages i know of ,also this will be my first project experience.

If you want to find an interesting project to work on, find some software you like and join their mailing list, try to get involved.

There are a lot of databases written in C, C++ and Java.

Examples:
Redis
Cassandra
HBase
Neo4j

Cocos2d-x is written in C++. It currently does not support Desktop. You can contribute to that.
