[C#] Transparency Issue

Posted 25 October 2011 - 09:35 PM

Okay, this has been troubling me for some time. I am getting kind of tired of not being able to make my own form backgrounds, and such. Being as, rounded boarder edges, etc. I know I can do this with some issues, which are as followed.

I get something similar to this but jagged Lime color. The black is my background. (Original image is a .png with a transparent background)

I have set the TransparencyKey to Lime, and the form BackColor to Lime aswell. Thus all Lime Color would be transparent. However when I do this, and run the application, I get what you see above. I get a green border, which is greatly unwanted. I have no idea of a way to approach this problem, whether it be via code, or some minor property edit.

The image is just something I threw together to show my issue.

I have done loads of google searches, and still no fixes, or guides to fix this issue. I have had this haunting me for quite some time now. A fix, or a guide would be wonderful.
