lookin for a tad bit o help...

Posted 12 May 2001 - 02:24 PM

[color=red]ok i had a programming question
How do you put a stop or pause on the terminal so if the output is too much for one screen they can press enter to view parts at a time? I dont need this for any particular thing it would just be nice to know.

also is there a way to open an exe. file through c++ at the output terminal. If so how? My plan is to make a program that i can run that will link all of my game exe files to itself so i can just run them from there... its hard to explain but if you can run an exe file from the output terminal please tell me how thx...

Oh runtime you should help me with that program i got the same one you did for your final. I dont want you to give it to me, not that you would, but i just want some help.

So in response to the final, you need to post some of the code up first, right now we need to make sure this is a members helping members, not members cheating on finals... because Hanosh is all up in our faces we'll keep this real professional for now :)

[color=red]Oh, well i assure you im not trying to cheat. Even though you havent met me im not that type of person, and i actully think what you did was a  good idea if i understood right that is. Did you want me to post my code? or what exactly were you asking there? Tell me please, but none of those questions relate to my final at all except the direct comment to runtime which i really dont mean. ;) yea and i understand your worries about that, mr h doesnt want us to cheat and i understand that too ;)

the pause in the output and the posssible way to run an exe file are for my own program that im trying to make here at my house =) but please clarify your post a little thanks :)

You can use getch() in most DOS/Win32 Console compilers (in conio.h) to wait for a single keypress.
