Call a function from inside the html source code?

Posted 27 October 2011 - 06:20 PM

Is it possible to call a function that is in a class file from with in the asp source code? I have an assignment that we were provided a starting file for which included an html file and image files for the images on the page. Our instructions state to "add code to each image to call a find function". These are not image buttons, they are just images.

Our textbook has not covered anything like this, in fact it shows using image buttons if you want a clickable image. Is it even possible to call a function that would be in a vb.net class from the source code? Are there any tutorials that explain how this is done?

No, it actually does not specify that we can not make them image buttons. The line about adding code to each image is the only mention of these images at all. Maybe I am just over thinking this since the start file had the web page built, but only using images instead of buttons.
