SMTP question

So I have my local set up so I can test my email application but the thing is that it only sends the emails to the bad email folder. I was wondering if anyone had this type of issue before and how they resolved it...

Emails are not sent to folders.
Emails are sent to addresses.
If your email client then thinks the email is spam (sounds like it probably is) then the client is following *its* rules for sorting out incoming messages.
