hi everyone

I have 3 checkboxes in my form and I wich to accomplish that if I check one item in a checkbox the other checkboxes get unchecked at that index

I hope someone cam help me because I don't find it

depends on the version. If you are doing this in VB .NET then you can put a group of check boxes in a group / frame, if you are doing this in VB 6, you can create a group box with radio buttons and it will accomplish the task.

As today4me, mention you would be better off using radio buttons as that is their intended purpose. Only one radio button can be selected at a time.

I juse visual studio 2005 ( vb.NET)

in the checkboxes there are 26 items in it and with radiobuttons I need 78 radiobuttons

Radio buttons are in the .NET version, too.

Radio Button Control.

Private Sub Check1_Click()
Check2.Value = 0
Check3.Value = 0
End Sub

Private Sub Check2_Click()
Check1.Value = 0
Check3.Value = 0
End Sub

Private Sub Check3_Click()
Check2.Value = 0
Check1.Value = 0
End Sub

Im just a beginner, I dont know if Im doing it right

That's Exactly how it should be done....I guess why anyone else didn't did that.

Ya. that;s the solution. but it would be easier if we use radio button casue no need to waste time in writing the coding.
