By the way, I understand the business motives for trying for lower taxes. I just don't understand why a taxpayer would agree without proof that in the long run it would lower their taxes too. Management claims to be "job creators" but we've been shedding jobs in the US since trickle down economics began thirty years ago. It's time we start giving tax breaks based on jobs you actually created last year, not jobs you might create next year.
