password doesn't work for outlook

I just installed microsoft office. When it got to outlook I upgraded,,put in my password, no problem. When I went to send mail an icon popped up and asked me to enter name and password for the following server, so I did . But it kept popping up and stalking me. I can't send mail.I know the password and name is correct. What to do?

Most likely problems like this are caused by:
•incorrect ports
•incorrect SMTP, POP or IMAP settings
•wrong server address

You'll need to check these in your preferences and verify the settings with your provider to see if there are any issues.
