Buy a high-end developing machine and leave your old computer as a test system. :D ;)

The i7 2600k is a great value for money processor. I have been looking over the bench marks at Anandtech, and it outperforms the hexacore 990x, in a majority of areas, except dvd encoding. The Asus Sabertooth P67 looks like a fantastic board for cooling and overclocking.

It would also useful to have a test machine, which simulates your customers machine. What's the point writing the code, if is unusable on their machine.
