I've recently installed (then re-installed) a game called Borderlands on my computer (from Steam). Yet whenever I attempt to load it I get this error message:
General protection fault! History: memcpy() Address = 0x747aae7a (filename not found) [in C:\Windows\WinSxS\x86_microsoft.vc90.crt_1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b_9.0.30729.6161_none_50934f2ebcb7eb57\MSVCR90.cll] GImage::Gimage() Address = 0x5c1190 (filename not found) [in c;\program files (x86)\steam\steamapps\common\borderlands\Binaries\Borderlands.exe]
A little note, this persisted through me reinstalling Borderlands.
As for the 2nd error, I know I have the Borderlands.exe, so I have a feeling it's the first part, about the Visual C++ (I presume) error.
Have any ideas?
Thank you!
Crockeo
P.S.
I noticed how my OS is listed as Linux; I'm using Windows to play all of this, not Wine or a Windows Emulator.
