Sony is packing up their 27 PS2s three days early. Seems that the Microsoft VP of Corporate Strategy, Richard Roy, complained to CeBit show organizers about Sony letting people play the game consoles on display. This breached show rules of not messing with displays, thing is show organizers had never had a problem with it in the past. Sony has allowed folks to do this for the past three years they have been at the show. It's just this year that the XBox is on display. Show officals confirmed that Richard Roy had complained, they also stated that they would not have done anything if M$ hadn't complained. To top it all off, the Microsoft display had 'employees' playing their console in the display.

i hope they get kicked out of e3 and leave the console wars to nintendo and sony, the companys who realize there's one thing that sells consoles: games.

i aggree with sloth, but that's never gonna happen.  m$ is worth so much, no one will ever be able to control them.  I bet someday m$ will stop going to those, and just create their own conventions dedicated to the x-box and whatever other systems they put out between then and now.
