The Android GUI Builder with Eclipse is better than a lot of the Swing GUI Builders.

Amen to that. Eclipse makes android GUIs a breeze to make compared to swing.

I really can't read all of those posts because some of them are just too long, and I'm tired... So if this has been said sorry. :P

I saw many said to go with C# since you got some experience with C-like syntax...
But also a major plus is that C# is one of the two supported languages for the XNA Framework, which is probably the framework you're going to build games for Xbox360 (in some distant future...:P). Also it is one of the most supported Microsoft languages, so getting a job or getting some advanced education for it is going to be easier than getting the education for Clojure (I've got nothing against Clojure )

Actually, that's exactly what that means.
Just sayin'.

The OP asked: if you were coding it, in what language would you code it. People are going to go with the language they prefer so thats not the right question to ask.

C# has been suggested - i agree.

WPF has been suggested - i would go with Winforms. I know WPF is the future but it is in fact a beast so stick to somthing easier for the moment.
Have fun.
