I have searched on wordpress site and forums about how to disable the dashboard but i did not find what i was looking for.
I want the dashboard menu(the black menu that pops up when users login) to only be visible if the logged in person is admin. I dont want it showing up for all other users and i dont want my users to have access to their profiles, comments etc sections in dashboard.
So far the methods i found worked in disabling for example Post menu option in dashbord or removing one or 2 dashboard menu items - not completely removing the entire menu its self.
I see on this http://codex.wordpre...apability_Table that the dashboard menu(the black menu once users login) is by default available to all user levels. I suspect that this is why any of the role limiting plugins did not work. I could not locate exactly where this permissions are set so i can manually change it.
I appreciate all comments and help.
EDIT: this plug in seems to do what i want but if users knew for example the wordpress profile url they still can access it. http://wordpress.org...in-bar-removal/
