Yea, the simple mention of fetish porn and the thread goes into a really weird place. Good job, B9!

I'll have the tall drink of water in the shades, please. He looks like he could likely carry on a conversation about something other than his pants, his hair, or what appears to be a neat-o denim jacket.

ICANN has produced the list of all the top level domains applied for.

An interesting set of data to see what people were jumping for (.app)... I am not sure how often I would hit up something with an umlaut in it - ".vermögensberater" I am looking at you - but there does seem quite a few non-english characters taken up.. "كوم".

Please tell me there will be live broadcasts of it when Google and Microsoft fight over LIVE and DOCS? - I'm picturing some sort of a no rules kick-boxing match... Last CEO standing gets the domain.

In that case, I would be supporting Microsoft.

Good. Somebody will have to support Microsoft... once Google is through with 'em.

Oh ICANN. *insert sitcom laugh track*

Quote

The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers' program to expand the number of domains on the internet has suffered another embarrassing setback.

ICANN has temporarily taken down details of domain suffix applications after it inadvertently published the addresses of applicants.

A statement issued by ICANN says: "It has come to our attention that we have published the postal addresses of some primary and secondary contacts for new generic top-level domain applications. This information was not intended for publication. The addresses appeared as responses to portions of questions six and seven on the application.

"We have temporarily disabled viewing of the application details and will provide more information on this matter as it becomes available."
