CES 2012

Posted 09 January 2012 - 08:18 AM

CES (consumer electronics show) is upon us folks! Is there anything you are looking forward to? Any stellar product you think we should be aware of? Is anyone actually there?

Acer's new quad core Iconia Tab has my eye..

Oh and this drone looks rife for evil fun!

Hmmm... streaming USB sticks with an FTP!

Quote

The diminutive CloudFTP is a battery-powered file server that takes popular USB devices (thumb drives, hard drives, etc.) and then streams 'em to up to three different devices or serves vanilla files to any WiFi device within range. Better still, it's capable of syncing data with iCloud, Dropbox, Box and a slew of other online cloud storage devices, and it'll churn out files for a solid five hours before needing a recharge.

FYI I am tracking most of it through engadget...

The Vizio laptop's and Desktop's have caught my interest. Looking at the Laptop to see it's specs and most importantly it's price!

I went in 2009? Probably won't be going again. Its cool and all but tiresome to walk all the floors and different buildings. In the end, I don't find much value going vs reading about the products online. You guys going?

Haha, very funny. I don't remember the exact year so I placed a question mark. It was around there, close enough ROFL

I want to see more of the new "ultra thin, touch screen Intel laptop" I've been hearing about.

I'm curious to see what, if any, changes there are to the kinect to have the big price change. unless its just the price to allow u to develop commercially, but they didn't really say how they will manage that, afaik.
