Tech Talks and Keynotes

Posted 10 January 2012 - 10:06 AM

I am looking to compile a list of Tech Talks and Keynotes on various subjects.

Ranging from Software Architecture to Computer Security. Programming Language Keynotes, OSCon, anything related to the tech industry. Even freely available lectures from Universities.

Anyone have any good resources on this?

I think a centralized location for compiling this list be it here or in another thread would be a good addition to the site.

There are loads of podcast andiTunesU materials from MIT, the Open University, and many other educational bodies throughout the world, all available for free through the iTunes store.

MIT also have the Open Course Ware site,w ehre loads of educaitonal material is avaioable for free http://ocw.mit.edu/index.htm

the OU have a similar site at Open Learn http://openlearn.open.ac.uk/

Microsoft, google and apple tech talks are all available on youtube.

Most of what you are after is just a quick google away, so happy hunting :)

Thanks for your input, I am just trying to compile a list of recommend talks, keynotes etc.., building up a queue to listen to them at work as well as just to archive for future reference.

Also to have several of them listed in a centralized location proves an invaluable resource and adds value so people can come here to look for links to videos and lectures without dealing with the spam happy, Ecommerce driven search engine known as Google.
