I sick and tired of people going around with mixed up info on this system.  I've done lots of research on it and if you have questions or things that you're not sure of then post them on this thread.  Here's my list.

1. XBOX cannot play PS2 or Dreamcast games
2. XBOX cannot burn CDs, only rip them onto the harddisk
3. The XBOX CD player cannot play MP3s
4. It doesn't run MS Word or Excel (yeah, I know;can you believe people think that?)
5. The XBOX console is 跌 NOT 躔 unless you pre-ordered a bundle
6. You can't upgrade the Hard drive or CPU
7. You don't have to install any games, except I've heard things on this forum about DOA3 but no where else.

That's all for now, but if you have any other questions, rumors, whatever, then post on this forum!

Nothing will influance me to think that a 500 doller system- US is worth it. #### PS2 in canada is currently at 400 and thats Canadian cash. thats like 250 for americans. And what better perfomrance is between both? I doubt anything recognizable

BING-BONG... he said 跌 US.  that's 跋.99.  he did mention 躔 with a BUNDLE.  meaning... you get other shit with it and not just the box and controller.  ok?  don't add to the american idea/stereotype that says that our Canadian friends are ST00PID.

I got my XBOX on launch day without the bundle.  I only liked Halo, I don't ever plan to get Oddworld.  And, if Sloth is reading this, Halo is not going to come out on PC.  It was scheduled to originally until MS picked it up as their flagship XBOX game and cancelled the PC launch of the game.

You can get a Identical one in Canada for 500 or so , so you would be DUMB vetritus, to not come here when the exchange rate is amazing

Theres another set of "bundles" Were the #### are all the single systems without anything except a controller? I guess you'r forced to pay 500 and get games you DONT like! Lol. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and find some more prices though.

quik, even i got to admit your bein stubborn, thats the individual retailers price, not the msrp. in other words, the system is 300 dollars, and places like amazon and ebgames are screwin people over. dont you remember the ps2 launch? it was the same thing.

second of all, i havent seen the installation thing i said in person, i got it off the ign uplugged, so im a secondary source, and possibly wrong, and they might have a dev kit, so that would explain it.

lastly, damnit, i wanted halo on pc, guess ill have to get an xbox, when its 100 bucks on clearence :)

Yeah, pre launch I went to all of those sites, saw only bundles for sale, decided it was a total rip-off and waited till launch day to get a non bundled system for 跌

Guys i found something even better than the X-Box, see you take the 躔 dollars you have been saving for the system, then you put the money in the Toilet, and Flush it, it leaves you with the same feeling, as buying the thing
