problem with task manager in windows 7

Posted 15 January 2012 - 07:12 AM

Hi guys,

In windows XP, i remember I was able to switch between modes in task manager, like processes, tasks, and the performance graphs, very easily with the tabs at the top.

In windows 7 now, I find that there are no tabs, so you can't easily switch between modes.
Now I have managed to view processes with task manger, by right clicking (i think), but now I can't get back to the tasks view.

It would also be useful to know how to view the performance graphs aswell, unless they have removed them.

as you can see, there are no tabs at the top anymore, and I can't work out how to switch easily between modes, so any help is greatly appreciated

:boat:

I have tabs at the top of my Task Manager in Win7. On all 3 of the computers running it.
CTRL+Tab should switch tabs via the keyboard if they there, but not visible for some reason.

This is my Task Manager from Win7x64 Ult

Perhaps you're using a User Account that doesn't have permissions for more than what you have?
Did you install a bootleg copy of Windows and the hacker broke your Task Manager?
Are you using a Home edition of Windows? Maybe that version doesn't give you grown up tool?

It's called Tiny Footprint mode.
Double click near the top right of the panel and your menu will be restored.

EDIT:
Repeating the top right double click will bring it back.

I had this happen a while ago, and for months had thought it was broken, then found out you can double click it :P

Thought this was the issue before I opened the thread ^.^
