I know there are hundreds of threads that have OpenGL vs Directx but i could not find one that is both up to date and focused on Windows games so thats what this is.
Why do most developers use DirectX for windows game rather than OpenGl. I know OpenGl is more used in the sciences so why would you not use a (presumably) more accurate 3D lib for games?
Please don't put anything about any OS that is not WINDOWS this thread should be windows talk only.
What are the Pros and Cons of each in terms of video games?
