I know there's tutorials on DIC already, and console input is a pretty basic topic in C/C++. But anyway, I got fed up of wasting time trying to work out which function takes out delimiters, which one leaves them in, and I'm not so hot on console input in C. I put together a detailed-ish list of pretty much all of the different options for taking input for C/C++.

Most of the stuff can be found pretty easily on cplusplus' reference, but I thought it would be nice to have it all in one place. The file's a pdf and is attached to this post.

Perhaps you might consider submitting the contents of the tutorial to the DIC tutorials section.
