Hi,

I am connected to a server via an ODBC connection. I can use that to pull data from the server to manipulate i.e. Reports, Crystal, Excel, access) My question really is can I modify the server data via this connection? What is this called I have tried "update", "Merge", "Add/modify/delete". I am clearly not getting a term correct to look up if this is even possible. I want to change the data in a table via access then "abra cadabera" the table it is linked to that is on the server. If you can help point me towards a resource so I can learn about this i would greatly appreciate it. thank you for your time.
