i need help in my project
the idea of project
title (Employee Information Systems)
The goal of this project is to design and develop an employee management system for an organization. The system is capable to maintain information of employee profiles, electronic timesheets, employee performance reviews, a track of current activities of an employee, Leave Information,task priority list according to specialization and payroll information
so , in the project i will make the employee use the hardware to scan the fingerprint or read the smart card for every one
-how can use this with project ?
which one is better and easier to connect with PHP?
if you have a good device give me the name and the name of company to buy it?
if any one have a good idea tell me ?

PHP is a server-side language therefore it can't capture images. It can be used to process the image though but not capture it. Using biometrics with PHP will require ActiveX and/or Javascript to capture the image. I was looking at Griaule Biometrics' Fingerprint SDK which uses a Java Applet. It however states this

You now have a list of fingerprint readers you can check out.

The rest of the project is fairly simple database manipulation. Have a look as PHP Data Objects (PDO). You will also find Dormilich's tutorial, Introduction to PDO, helpful.

if i use vB.net for attendance by fingerprint and connect it with PHP

I believe it can be done in .NET but it depends on if the company provides developers with a Connector so that your program can interact with their device/drivers.
