Good morning people, it is 8:36 AM in Joplin, Missouri. What I would like to know is a good place to learn SEO, Now, I have been a student of the internet , since, March 6, 2009 and know about Web-Ceo, SEOMOZ,SEOBOOK,SEOinpractice, Media Cause, and the list goes on. The web is full of resources, the point is to be really, successful you need a teacher. I think I have learned all the basics on my own, I have researched internships, that is how I found Media Cause. Eric, however; is active doing other things, and can not play an active role in my learning. Schools like USF give master certificates in SEO, but the cost is close to $3,000 , I was offered a position, on the staff of Tipping Point,SEO the owner told me that when I can create a website that can earn a client $100 per day then I am ready to take on clients and he will add me to his staff.

So, I Have worked very hard to try and improve my skill. This is my project, to be the best Web Consultant in my area, this requires having a lot of knowledge,but I think I have done all I can on my own, so looking for expert advice on possible internships.

Mossypne, thank you, for posting there are several places a person can gain resources and information on any topic you would like to learn, the internet is huge, a student of the internet learns one topic at a time. I have been at this three years, I started with resources shared by free lance writers, moved on to library books, bought CD'S and DVD'S , your question is general and contains no specifics, if your asking what I meant, and seek more clarity on my part, I am saying , since March 6, 2009 I have focused on learning how to do keyword research* how to use them in search engines to find specific information*how to use them to get facts on what other individual's want more information about * how to create a website that is both user friendly and that spiders pick up* how to generate income on the internet[ I have done this successfully, it has never been anymore than $10-30 in a month, but at least I can say I did it]

Going from an inexperienced person, who only knew how to read emails, to getting an reputation in social media, being a certified Internet Marketing Professional among SEO experts,and to be a credible person to talk to with shared testimonials on website development. This is not my Job, or hobby this is my life, but I also; realize I am not out of the woods yet, until I can earn $100 per day for another person I am still on a very long and hard road, no matter how much I have learned, or how many small businesses I have helped.

I appreciate the recognition, even the criticism , but looking for more experts to work with me and help me improve my skills.

I used to work at an SEO company, as a "Natural Search Analyst". I hated it, and quickly moved to an IT role in the same company. However. I would start offering SEO consultancy for free for websites. Send an email or contact friends of friends and ask about doing their SEO for free. Once you have built up your skills, try and look for trainee or 'Junior' SEO jobs. Be prepared to relocate for the opportunity - you may have to move across the other side of your country. This is what I observed other SEO people doing at the company, and once they had built up their skills and experience in the junior role, they would move on to other jobs, maybe one where they actually wanted to live or work.
