Disturbia

Posted 15 April 2007 - 06:10 PM

So this may not be a box office blowout compared to the movies we normally talk about, but has anyone else seen it yet?

I thought it was pretty good, it had a 'teen' aspect that really shows why it's PG-13 and it's far from epic but the idea of the guy being on house arrest put a nice twist on an old concept.

That Sarah Roemer is pretty hot, and I'm a fan of David Morse (Mr. Turner).

I wanted to go see it but I couldn't convince anyone else. We saw Aqua Teen Hunger Force instead, which had it's best moments in the opening scene. Hopefully I'll get a chance to see it soon.

every review i read just compares it to Rear Window, fair enough considering the content, but there's a certain point where you gotta stop and just let a the movie stand on it's own. i get my movie reviews from chud.com, they hardly ever let me down and have recommended quite a few gems to me. they gave suburbia a good score (i think an 8/10)

Reality bites. I too can't seem to convince anyone to go and see the movie. I don't want to go by myself.

I hate to dig up old topics, but I rented Disturbia this weekend and thought it was really good. Between the smokin hot chick, good story line, and a little murder mystery, I thought it was well done. Will probably buy it.
